Lawn Turfing Services in Adderbury
Laying fresh turf gives you an instant garden transformation, delivering a fully mature lawn in a single day instead of waiting months for seed to establish. How long your new turf lasts comes down to proper groundwork and consistent aftercare.
We provide complete lawn installation solutions including low maintenance alternatives such as artificial grass, offered in numerous styles, colours and surface textures.
Lawn Preparation
We begin by stripping away all existing vegetation and removing debris including old turf, root systems and stones that would otherwise create bumps and dips. The soil requires rotavating to break up compaction, especially crucial on new build sites where construction equipment has compressed the ground.
Fresh topsoil is often needed. We work towards achieving 100-150mm depth of quality topsoil, providing grass roots with adequate space to establish correctly. Substandard soil always produces substandard lawns, no matter how good the turf itself. We grade and level with care, forming gentle gradients away from structures to stop water collecting.
Just before the turf goes down, we give the surface a final rake and gentle firming—firm enough to walk across without leaving impressions, but not overly compacted.
Alongside our turfing services in Adderbury, we provide additional garden solutions including artificial grass fitting, sandstone patios and more.

After getting several quotes for a new drive I decided to go with Summit. As well as a very competitive quote, I am also very pleased with the quality of the work undertaken, and the care taken during construction.
Summit Driveways have recently installed a new driveway at my property. Rob visited to discuss my requirements and answer any questions that I had. He supplied a detailed quote that was reasonably priced. Given the current hot weather the team were hard working. They arrived promptly and left the site tidy at the end of each day. A professional company who I highly recommend.
